1. Setting up tech teams at Matmatch, Heycar, AtFarm, NIST, and UP42
ACELR8 first collaborated with BCGDV to help grow Matmatch’s technical team in their Munich office. After successfully recruiting engineers for Matmatch, we contributed to some of DV’s other projects in Berlin, including Heycar (a platform for premium used cars), AtFarm (which uses satellite images to optimise agriculture), NIST (digitalisation of real estate financing), UP42 (data marketplace), Labtwin (voice assistant in lab).
2. Building out Talent Architecture at BCG Digital Ventures
In 2017 we further strengthened our collaboration with BCGDV by becoming their official talent partners in Berlin. Since March 2018, we have been working in-house at BCGDV. From August 2018 we have been building out a pilot programme to establish a new cohort within DV: Talent Architecture. We sent four Talent Partners – Swenja, Viola, Joyce, and Edmund – to help DV with this mission.
The Talent Architecture cohort was the first recruitment team within DV focused solely on venture hiring. The pressure was on to deliver; both in order to find the exceptional talent that these early-stage ventures needed in order to be successful, and to deliver a successful pilot.
After some key technical hires for multiple different ventures, including LabTwin and UP42, the pilot was deemed a success. Talent Architecture has been established as a new cohort with DV Berlin, and will hire for all ventures that DV Berlin incubates in the future.
3. Helping BCG DV's Shanghai venture
We are currently on a mission to build out hiring for a venture in BCG Digital Ventures Shangai.
