Success story: Houzz

Houzz is the world's leading online platform for home remodeling, architecture, interior design, decorating, landscaping, and home improvement. It’s a platform that connects homeowners with designers directly, reducing costs and allowing individuals to find their perfect suppliers and designs with ease. Since its foundation in 2008, Houzz has gone from strength to strength, and is currently valued at over €4 billion.

The challenge

The key challenge in this instance was an operational one. Building on their huge success in the USA, Houzz needed to expand into Europe rapidly, in multiple regions at once. This included regions such as the Nordics, DACH, and the UK.

The result

ACELR8 was able to assist Houzz in growing their team across multiple functions, in different regions across Europe. We helped them to bring on key hires such as Head of Sales in Germany and Chief Editor in the Nordics. Additionally, we helped Houzz grow their sales team even further by hiring talented Account Executives in both the UK and Germany.
